Who it's for

The lessons are aimed at beginners and intermediate players, and anyone who fancies learning some new tunes. Unless specified otherwise, everything is in GDAD tuning and works on either Irish bouzouki or tenor guitar.

How the lessons work

Every lesson is built around the melody first. It gets broken down line by line and taken slowly, so there's plenty of time to get it under your fingers. Once that's comfortable, we move on to chord ideas and ornamentation, which you can take or leave depending on what you're after.

What's in a full lesson

Full lessons are typically 30 to 60 minutes and cover the complete tune, along with chords and ornamentation. Everything is timestamped, so you can jump straight to the line or section you're working on rather than scrubbing through. Tabs and notation come as a PDF and a MuseScore Studio file, so you can slow the tune right down, change the capo position, and loop whatever you're working on.
